I can say one thing with certainty. If I hadn't left already, this pure and utter bullshit would have sent me out the door. I just can NOT believe people will buy this. Usually they make at least some attempt to make a change make some kind of sense but this is mindnumbingly stupid. It is truly the equivalent of telling the group to drink poisoned Kool-aid. It makes no more sense to believe this change than it would to drink that.

Ugly Sisters

o.k i have noticed that most female jws are ugly.and by ugly i mean ugly.they won't work out,they are fat and won't go on a diet (some female teens won't even shave their legs),they neglect their appearance/body in general.any opinions?.

p.s many will eventually get fat after marriage.

I don't know about that. I remember finding lots of sisters attractive. I'll agree though that many never looked up to their potential as they tried to look modest.

I volunteered twice. Once on the Friday before the assembly. I remember doing yard work and being told to not wear a shirt with any kind of slogan. They serve you lunch like you're in Bethel.

I went one day to help with the expansion.

I was only on it once. I gave a demonstration at the pioneer day on a Friday. It got me noticed by a lot of single pioneer sisters but that was about the extent of its noveity.

I don't know if they still have that soft serve ice cream maker but it was a highlight to get an ice cream and then walk outside to the pond in back.

Way back I remember they used to serve salisbury steak as the hot meal and it was delicious!

The parking spaces were RIDICULOUSLY narrow! No one could fit and I think they actually fit less cars because of it.

There was a black guy that used to direct the parking for YEARS! I wonder if he still is there.

People used to sit in the cafeteria and talk while the program was going on.

One of my last assemblies was with the biggest asshole I've ever come across for a District Overseer. All he could talk about was whether people were meeting the national average in field service. There was no love in this man, just an obsession with statistics. He did a lot to help me make my decision to leave.

it seems that obama and netanyahu cannot work together and israel is being isolated.

the two men had a recent falling out and once again israel looks like they will have to fend for themselves in the arab world.

what i see is the usa distancing themselves from israel and becoming more pro-arab..

America has been Israel's bitch for WAY too long. It is time for America to cease its nonsensical "special" relationship and treat Israel like any other country. The Israeli lobby has dominated politics in this country to a huge extent. It has to stop.
